this saturday(5th jan) the band will be performing in the hall for the CCA open house. ZY will be conducting believe and ima conducting fiesta. Lets be nice and come down to support okay! will update on the time!

There will be practice on 24 Nov Saturday - 9.30am. Those who have completed their A and O Levels, please do come along.
The outing on Sunday (25 Nov) is confirmed. We will be having a Pot luck.
Venue : Sentosa
Time: We will confirm it on Saturday's practice.
So, just keep your Sunday free!

Dear memebers, please note that the confirmed date for the concert will be 23rd December .
Mr Ng will be fighting for a slot for the alumni band and we hope we can at least perform the 2 pieces we have been working on (Shrek Dance and March Beyond the Critical Point) . .Meanwhile we have to start working on the combine band pieces.
So far, Zhen Yang have confirmed Gypsy Dance, Foxfire Overture, Themes from "The Green Bushes", Dedicata, Chorale and Shaker Dance II, Fiesta Blues, Howl's Moving Castle and Carribean Christmas.
All memebers, you have to attend at least 75% of the practices (including combine band practices and rehersals)
Memebers involved in the 'A' and 'O' level examinations, we look forward to you joining us as soon as possible. Please help to spread this message around. The next practice will be on 20th Oct(Saturday)

75% attendance.
And we are proud to have Zoe Sim as part of the RPWS. She did a good job at RPWS's first concert.

Thank you all for all the hard work you all have put in. The performace was a success! Miss Mindy even wanted us to perform it again. Anyway, if any of you have any other pictures or videos of the performance, please send a copy to me okay! The next practice will be held next saturday ( 8 Sep ) Same time! same place!

Okay, i've created this small blog. i know it doesnt really look good la, so if any of you guys wana edit the skin, get the mailie and password from me.
ANYWAY, there will be practice tml(Saturday, 11th August) , 9.30am, band room.
For the next few practices, we will be focusing on our Teachers Day Performance. If you guys need any more info, please call me or Zhen yang okay!

The Teck Whye Alumni Band was formed in the year
2007. Currently, with only 20 odd memebers, we managed to put up a performance
in the recent Fiesta 07 in the Victoria Concert Hall(in hand with the main
band). We hope to gather all teck whye musicians to make room for further music
appreciation after they have graduated.
